    Choose a thicker vapor barrier to extend the life of the cover, more dense foam to increase cover strength and use the "long steam stopper" for extra insulation across the fold.
  • Extend the life of your hot tub cover by 12 - 18 months. Most hot tub covers die from waterlogging due to vapor barrier failure from spa chemicals. Your cover will simply last longer!

    The standard cover comes with steam stopper pillows on each end of the fold/hinge. To increase the cover's insulation by R-9, upgrade to the Long Steam Stopper to seal across the entire width of the hinge where it folds.

    The long steam stopper extends across the full length of the hot tub covers fold for maximum insulation & significantly cuts heating bills. It adds additional insulation of R-9 to any cover by stopping heat loss through the fold/hinge area.

    Add strength to support snow, animals, etc. so the foam does not break.

    To make the cover stronger, for example to hold snow or small animals, increase the density of the foam panels.
  • TRADITIONAL: Making a stronger cover has historically been achieved exclusively by using more dense foam. This added strength correspondingly increases the weight of the cover, making it heavier to lift and move.

    INNOVATIVE: We decided to tackle this problem and invented a cover that provides extreme strength with no additional weight. Our Extreme Beam design is so innovative we were awarded a utility patent (US011008769). The increase in strength is well beyond what can be achieved with higher foam density.     This upgrades adds a nylon strap inside the 2 ply vinyl fold/hinge for extra strength when the cover will be hung from a cover lifter.
    Please note: We can not accommodate cover lifters for Hot Spring covers with metal plates in the side of the cover.

  • You must double-check manufacturer measurements for dimensions A, B, and C. These values are supplied to us as estimates but we cannot guarantee their accuracy. Because each cover is made to order, the best solution is always to measure the cover yourself. Our custom made covers can not be returned or exchanged.

    2. B) Our covers are NOT compatible with Hot Spring and other cover lifters that require mounting screws attaching into the cover.
    3. C) Hot Tub Cover Depot does not make covers for spas with raised speakers.
    4. D) Hot Tub Cover Depot does not make covers for spas that require the cover to be inset into the top of the spa.
    5. D) Hot Tub Cover Depot covers have a manufacturing tolerance of + \ - 1 inch on length and width.
    6. E) Because our covers are custom made to order, they cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.

  • Our customers demanded we eliminate the damages and the requirement to be home for a Freight delivery. So we spent 4 years inventing a parcel cover design that DOES NOT ship via freight! It is made with our Extreme Beam Technology and is the STRONGEST and LIGHTEST cover made. It is so innovative it was awarded U.S. utility patent US011008769.


    Select FedEx shipping and your cover will be made with our stronger parcel cover design. Select Freight shipping and your cover will be made with the traditional cover design.


    The parcel cover design has only two differences. 1) It has double the internal structural metal, making it much stronger, but not heavier. 2) It requires assembly - simply insert the foams and zip closed.  Watch 1 minute assembly video The exterior vinyl outside is unchanged.
